About our Nordic Programs
Woodstock Ski Runners offers Nordic ski programs for children in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. The goal of our program is to give children a solid introduction and appreciation for the sport of Nordic skiing. Skiers will learn basic nordic ski skills including both skating and classic style technique. Coaches work with all levels of skiers to assist them in skill and fitness development. New skiers need to have the ability to stand up on skis and shuffle along for short periods of time. It is very important that skiers enter the program with some awareness of being on nordic skis. Skiers are encouraged to participate in competitive events held on weekends around the region in order to further develop their skills.
Important general information including program costs is below. For details on the right program for your child, please click on the individual program pages.

Lollipops $150
Team WSR, Grade 3-8: $400
All skiers must purchase a Woodstock Nordic Center discounted team season pass when the center opens for the season. This pass allows skiers access to the facility, the Mt.Peg and Mt.Tom groomed trails all season long. Trails need proper grooming and maintenance for safe skiing and this is what this pass covers. We encourage skiers to ski as much as possible outside of practice to develop basic ski skills.
NENSA Membership fee: $25-NENSA works to keep youth skiing thriving in New England and organizes many regional and local events. Please visit their website for more details www.nensa.net to renew your annual membership or to become a member. We will not be collecting NENSA memberships at registration this year.
